Very hard to deal or to kill in late game imo. Any advice or tips against this purple lady?

basically almost every hero

Poop all over her in lane, bait out her ult or make her waste it escaping, end the game fast.

@Potato Marshall what if both full slotted, your team all full items vs Spec and her team also full items, can she still be shut down?

slark is pretty good, so is necro. but just pick medusa and get ready for the longest carry v. carry fights in dota history!

Aside from breaking her passives and making her a large, high-hp creep, Invisibility in general counters Spectre because as she tries to jump everyone, she can’t use dust for everyone, actually, and she is very unlikely to carry a gem or dust in first place.

As a carry, never forget to build MKB, but why MKB against Spectre? Just one thing, she builds a Radiance and that item is like a Butterfly with lesser miss chance/blind miss but provides burn damage aura, also build SnY because imo, some pro players tend to build this item to counter her

Juggernaut shits on Spectre in lane. he can kill her even from behind, in the most humiliating ways. I remember Jug kicking my ass many times. He’d just Bladefury and run into me and my creep wave, after killing them and damaging me He’d just follow me to my tower and Ulti and kill me right under it. frustrating as hell.
Spectre feeds on his Ultimate. if ganks are mostly in enemy safelane his Ultimate won’t be handy. plus he sucks at jungle farming so just don’t give him space.
Also necro, TB(his Ulti destroys Spectre), PL or other illusion heroes can counter him in lategame.

I’ve always played around with Lion against her. Being able to kill her haunt illusion instantly with Mana Drain makes sure that you don’t get jumped on when she haunts. He also has a lot disable in the mid game for easy ganks. I would rather have an aggro tri against a spectre, which Lion isn’t amazing at because he doesn’t have amazing trading and his mana costs are really high so he has to sit back and clarity for to be useful. So in that situation you could pick Ogre, which doesn’t kill illusions that well but he will steroid carries and most likely cause the carries to out damage the spectre. He’s amazing in aggro trilanes, as his trading is one of the best in the game. I would recommend either of these as far as supports go.
