Ember spirit dota 2 mods
Ember spirit dota 2 mods
I want to learn Ember Spirit, I’m having trouble with it because I’m not a born mid-laner. It’s very rare for me to go midlane.
First, I’m the more suicidal type player, the first hero I mastered was Axe, until today Axe remains my best pick whenever I run out of ideas. This suicidal trait of mine helps me to make a good initiation for my team to come in.
Carry-wise, I love the ones who can dish out big damage is short time, I mostly pick juggernaut, ck and sven (my best is jugg). I really hope you get where I’m going with my explanation. With these 3 carries, I have a tendency to play heroes that dish out big damages FACE TO FACE, whether the ulti is on or not.
Those two strongest traits above me composed me as a dota player, but yet, I don’t think those two can be put in ember spirit. Like, I don’t think i should put ember on safelane just because I don’t do good at midlaner.
THAT’S WHY, I NEED A MENTOR, whoever loves Ember Spirit and willing to share the knowledge with me, I’ll be glad.
I need to learn from zero regarding Ember Spirit, or heck, I will learn midlaning from scratch if I have to.
I really hope you understand this post. I’m waiting for replies, thanks for your time, and welcome to my thread, pro ember users 🙂

Yeah you just said your not a midlaner player and it shows. You think Ember Spirit is one of the better picks in mid? Because he isn’t. If you have experience mid you will know that things like sniper, huskar, sand king, luna, pudge, ect, are all better picks for mid than an Ember Spirit. You are probably even better off playing PA, or Void, or slark, or juggernaut, or blood seeker mid, if enemy has a Pudge mid or a mid who can’t really harass the melee carry from farming.
Ember Spirit is very mediocre of a mid pick.
Ember is a very good midlaner, but he is very very squishy throughout the entire game. He is very iteam dependent. When you mid him, the usually build that i do and have seen is to get his searing chains and flame guard. This will allow you to take more magical damage and the searing chains allows u to get a way or keep you enemy where you need to. Later on you may want to get points in slight of fist. That move allows you to do damage and to use you searing chains while in you animation for slight of fist. This can also be used for initiation. Your ult is very very good for initiating or for getting away. It has saved myselft numerous times so member to put you fire remnets everywhere. The usually iteam build for him is bottle into phase boots and into a cleaver, daedalus and later on you can go for another cleaver. I don’t know if this helped or confused you at all. I am sorry if it confused you. They have very good guids online and watcihing purge playing him is also good

Ember spirit is actually a good laner in mid. Ember is usually picked when the enemy has little lockdowns because mobility is the only thing that keeps ember alive. Try to skill searing chains and flame guard first before sleight of fist because it doesn’t do anything in early game. But most of all don’t play him like axe, huskar, jugg, sven, etc. Because ember is really squishy and he can’t take right click fights vs other carries. So he gets kills in early and mid game by combining his skills. All of ember skills can be used in combinations. The most common is sleight of fist then searing chains. Also try to use fire remnants on lane then tp back base and refill health then tele back to remnant. Really helps a lot with enemy that’s really good at harassing.
Well practice makes perfect, good luck with ember 🙂
I do not consider myself a good Ember Spirit by any stretch of the imagination. I am better than some, obviously. I at least know what I’m doing.
This is what I understand:
Q – Searing Chains
This is your disable. The main thing to remember is that it hits random targets in the radius. Try to use it when there are no creeps near the enemy heroes! Also: You can use Q while in W.
W – Slight of Fist
Most builds and professionals recommend taking this last, and reflecting on it I understand why. This is NOT a farming ability. It does your base damage by default, doing more damage if it’s a hero and less if it’s a creep. IE Slight of Fist deals less damage than your auto attack to creeps. Other than that: It’s your AoE and your (less mana crazy) distance closer. You can use chains while Slight of Fist is “active” (You are flying around hitting everyone) and disable someone farther away.
E – Flame Guard
Lol free Radiance. Use for farm. Also blocks some magic damage, which helps with survival.
R – ULTIMATE – Flame Remnant (& Flame Remnant Return)
This is essentially your safety card. If you play Tinker (or buy Boots of Travel on anyone) think of your remnants as “placeable, immovable creeps”. They will provide some vision but mainly serve the purpose of allowing you to quickly get somewhere. This is why most Ember Spirits will place a remnant behind their towers or somewhere else safe before initiating, as they can use remnants to escape. A single flame remnant does pitiful damage. The only way to actually deal damage with your ult is to spam all 3 remnants on one point a fly to them all at once. You should be using it primarily for mobility. (Do not forget to throw remnants forward to chase if you need to!)
Based on how you advertise your play style, Ember isn’t the best pick for you. He isn’t the worst either, but you will have to play a bit safer. To mid with Ember, just activate Flame Guard and stand by creeps. You will naturally push the lane, so be careful about that. If you want to fight, just walk up to whoever with flame guard. Try hit hit them with chains (use W if they’re running, since they’ll be away from creeps) and then right clicks!
Ember becomes a force to be reckoned with once he gets attack mods: Armor Reduce (Deso), Crits (Dadelus), Cleave (Battlefury) (YOU WANT CLEAVE), or just plain damage. (Divine Rapier is a fairly common item on Ember. Don’t buy it if you are unsure of your abilities, though.) Coupled with Slight of Fist, Ember can deal massive “right click” damage.
