[ask] left click sometimes not working
hello everyone, i have a problem with my control in dota. Dota 2 trackpad sometimes my left click doesn’t work. i can use left click + drag to select controlled unit with no problem. but when i use A+left click (attack ground), sometime it doesn’t working so i need to click multiple times for attack move command. i have same problem too when i was targetting (skill or attack) a unit.
my ping is perfectly fine, my mouse is good , and i have checked my control too..
i will appreciate if you can help me. thank you in advance
Yes yes, any idea with this problem? I am facing it right now. OMG
I’m having the same problem on my laptop. On the other hand, Dota 2 works fine on my PC.
[solved] turn off your laptop touchpad
Hi i’m having the same issue. I’ve turned off my touchpad as well, and the issue is not solved. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
I am having the same issues. Left click is working fine until i try to use a spell or attack commando, in those cases i have to press multiple times and i might be lucky that one of them works!
I am sitting on a laptop and turning off the touchpad unfortunately did not solve the issue.
hey man i had the same problem, so i searched online and found this solution which worked for me.
most of us having this problem are probably using windows 8, and to resolve this issue, just go to pc settings > pc and devices > mouse and touchpad, and under “touchpad”, change the option to “no delay (always on)”
this should resolve your issue.
i specifically created an account just to share this solution, so spread this around alright
hey man, i got this problem also and i used Windows 8 OS. I already off my touchpad and change several my mouse setting but still cant be solve. is there anyone can help me?
Check your mouse quality.
IIRC Mouses have a thing called “Polling Rate” which basically your mouse “quality” in matter of lag. My razer naga 2013 has up to 1000Hz which sends an info From the mouse – To the computer. I’ve tried setting it to 125Hz (not on purpose lol), and it sends 1 info every 8ms and I thought it was LAG, it looks like it, but it really is your mouse’s capacity.
If your Mouse has really poor Polling Rate, it might queue key presses by its own device delay.
worked for me! Thank you so much!
I specifically created an account just to thank you! So THANKS!

Hi there, Living –
Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum – happy to have you here today.
Your CPU / GPU might be overheating and it’s throttling down – this would cause your CPU / GPU to operate in a low frequency, thus giving you low FPS. Try to monitor your CPU by using CoreTemp and your GPU by using GPU Shark or Afterburner.
If you get high temperatures, you can try to decrease the heat by:
- Using a good quality cooling pad that runs on high RPM or a better cooling in your room.
- Replacing the stock Thermal Interface Material with a good quality TIM like Noctua NT-H1, Tuniq TX-4, or Artic Silver 5.
Update us how it goes.
Tap that kudos button if I helped

I’m writing on forum, as many has done before, but nothing is changing. I own ideapad 510ISK with GT 940MX dedicated GPU. The problem is that the throttling of GPU starts at 61 Celsius degrees, GPU clocks go to
450Mhz, FPS in most games drop from about 60 to 20 FPS.
I write this, but i see that many people has written about this on forum, and no, its not a Power Manager problem or not selecting High Performance GPU in NVIDIA Control Panel.
Using NVIDIA Inspector i can clearly see that GPU Throttle temperature is locked at 61 degrees and nothing can change it, which is absolute absurd, because doing anything GPU-heavy will cause this temperature – resulting huge performance drop.
So, i’ll go to the point. Is there any possible way to solve this problem? On NVIDIA forums they told me to contant manufacturer, so i’m doing this. Is there any possible way to obtain VGA BIOS to edit throttling temp and flash it on my notebook?
we have this problem and stop running us. fix it
