Bot game in offline mode

Well, since now you can play solo bot games on local server.

Is there a way to start bot game in Offline mode? I’ve already tried to use

in console, it stars game well, but few minutes later i got dropped from server with error in console:

Maybe someone can tell me how to start offline bot game properly?

I dunno if it is doable. Have try common source commands such as sv_lan 1 ?
The No Steam Logon error normally appears when you have a connection issue between you and the steam server (also happens when all the required firewall ports are not open). So basically the game is still requiring a steam connection.

I would like to know this too. There will be some command console to play vs bots with no connection.(I’m waiting for this long time)
Offline vs bot can launch in HoN 3.0 by using command console so Dota2 may have it too.

No luck for me too. Been trying to play offline since an hour ago. It seems that DdsT is correct, that it still needs a connection despite it being based on a “local server.”

Didn’t tried it yet, but here is what I read on reddit about how to do it.

Enable console in your launch options (-console)
When Dota 2 Test console is open type in the following commands without quotations:
“sv_cheats 1” Enables cheats to use other commands.
“sv_lan 1” Wouldn’t hurt? I read on the wiki that it optimizes for LAN.
“dota_start_ai_game 1” This enables bots to load into your game.
“map dota” Loads up the dota map. If you’re feeling festive you can load up the other holiday maps.
If you dont enter the hero picker after loading and the objects on the minimap are white then do “jointeam good” for radiant or “jointeam bad” for dire.

Well, its almost same thing as i tried in 1st post, except sv_lan and cheats, and it didn’t changed anything. Still dropped after few minutes (before creep spawn) with same result in console

I hope there be an option soon to host local games in offline without rain dance (not sure how to translate that from russian )
