BH Comes with skill set that is more than great to gank earlygame. Heroes that are still laning are very vulnerable to BH instant over 300 damage with ministun and slow by surprise.

BH skills at max lvl

Q: 375 Damage Ranged nuke with ministun to secure kills and stop channeling.
W: 225% Critical with slow helps BH to deal more damage and wont let enemy run away.
E: Invisibility that adds up to 120 damage when broken.
Q: Track is used againts invisible enemies or escaping enemies. Adds bonus speed and gold.

All BH skills speak the same language. Roam and Assasinate with extra profits for everyone.

Best teammates for BH are those who can snowball early-midgame.
Lets say Pudge, Legion, Tusk, TA, Necro, Storm, SB and so on.
Pasicly heroes that have strong skillset and can nuke enemies without much farm earlygame.

At this point BH is good to let them gain extra gold without farming lanes or jungle and keep pushing enemies without giving them a chance to farm.

From this i belive people started to make BH as support hero. Meka, Mana Boots, Vlads and even wards. So team can benefit most from him and as he earns more gold from Track it is possible to get those items faster than regular support would.

This idea is perfect for well made party who can actually punish their enemy carry picks with strong earlygame setup and max out their early push.

Now BH on solo ranked or solo normal is a different story. Hes not a support and not a carry.
BH skillset makes him hunter, assasin for supports and other low hp DPS heroes that shiould be taken out fast. Some people have gotten idea that BH should be support in. well their heads Always!

Example picks on solo game:

Mirana as roamer.
Bat Rider as roamer.
Naga as .
AM as farming carry.

I picked BH to counter MK and Sniper on enemy team and he kinda fits Bat and Mira who are good early but become more useless lategame and dont fit to farm on lanes.
BH is not actual counter for MK but Track works really good when he tries to hop on trees.
Also can cancel his ult with ministun.

Normally BH kills supressed sniper in a second. Farmed sniper gets away with half hp from one hit. Sniper depends on SB and positioning so any blink or invi hero who can deal massive damage by suprise (assasin type hero) is real threat to him.

Now BatRider and Mirana both think they are carry.
Those players think that now BH should be buying all wards and pasicly be support.

I think this situation is way different from what i explained earlier when i told how good BH support can be. We got 3 heroes that can somewhat pressure enemy but we really lack the power of Finishing Fast.

Thats nice if they got some extra gold so they could finish their force staff and manta but
when this BH pick was not intentional support pick then in this case BH farm would be much more important than Batriders or Miranas or even nagas. cuz i have no idea why we have Naga in pub game.

So why do i think that BH farm should be more important than Mira or Bat? or any of this kind of hero when going lategame?

Mirana DPS 6 slotted peaks at 700-800 (crits included)
If going full DPS build without split arrows and only highest dps items
DPS Reaches up to 2000

No reason to even talk about Batriders DPS he is more like caster.
Pasicly just disabler/initator who needs some basic items to be more effective.
In this case he got two pros: Burn trees vs MK and pull MK out his ult.
Thats it!

Now BH can instantly deal 1200 damage with one hit. DPS peak 2000-2600
He also needs durability items if game is going late because invi countering is not a question anymore. If not farmed he becomes a spectator because his skill set is based on damage not on disabling/healing/dislocating.

And whole team is losing huge damage output so some disabling ability based hero can have little more impact but pasicly stays the same no matter how much farm he gets.

Why do i compare DPS? Once again:

Because if game is going late you really need high damage output.
Whatever the items Batrider or Mirana would get they wont have this impact
as BH would.

So in this case if BH goes support he becomes useless. He does not have hard disables or anything. BH skillset is built on DPS output so he can deal huge damage instatly to take out supports or other DPS heroes like Sniper.

If you see BH pick in solo game mode dont ever think he is going to be support. Because you saw someone doing it and it worked well. Jugger support or SF support could work well also. They can farm tons of gold really fast and buy loads of wards. Meka would work great with Jugger ward and SF can buy some extra auras to his armor reduction. Shiva and Necro?
So your Batrider and DarkSeer can maximize their farm and do something something at 50 minute mark. (Funny?) Like BH support for random pub heroes who based skillset should be listed as support.

1) Ask and if he support! IF BH says “no” then hes not going to buy mekanism and wards instead of desolator. No matter how much you will pressure him.

2) If team has picked 5x”carry” and your hero is actually not benefiting from DPS items and is only good beacuse of disabling abilities or nukes. please do the supporting. Or split the damn 200 gold per 3 minutes for vision sakes.

3) On the other hand. Dont pick carry BH if you are going to scream for dewards from minute one. Robbing your support should not be reason to pick BH.
