Each Dota 2 team, comprised of five professional gamers, is either invited and seeded based off their performance in smaller tournaments throughout the year, or qualifies to play in Ti9 through competitions which count as regional qualifiers.

Where’s the Prize Money From?

Yes, the giant winnings pot comes from Dota 2 players themselves. This year’s mind-blowing sum of 33 million USD is almost entirely crowd-funded, fueled by in-game purchase revenue from Dota 2’s immense community of players.

The prize money is divided among the top competitors, with whoever finishes in first place looking set to scoop over 15 million USD.

Part of the willingness to part with so much cash is that Valve Corporation has done a great job of nurturing a close-knit gaming community through encouraging player engagement — even the professional teams are managed and coached by ex-players themselves, testament to the organic “by gamers, for gamers” culture surrounding Dota 2.

The arrival of The International in Shanghai may be giving fans headaches over whether to skip work to watch proceedings live in the city’s giant Mercedes-Benz Arena, but thousands seem likely to call in sick or take some time off.

Thể lệ giải đấu:

• Thể thức thi đấu: Loại trực tiếp BO1 – Chung kết vòng loại tuần trở đi BO3
• Số đội tối đa mỗi tuần đấu: 32
• Chế đội thi đấu: Captain mode
• Đội phía trên của sơ đồ thi đấu sẽ được chọn side (Radiant hoặc Dire), đội còn lại được quyền chọn ban pick trước hoặc sau
• Phương thức xác định thắng thua: Đội đầu tiên phá hủy Ancient của đối phương sẽ là đội chiến thắng

Quy định về thành viên:

• Trong cùng 1 giải tuần, mỗi thành viên chỉ được thi đấu cho 01 đội duy nhất. Vi phạm việc này sẽ dẫn tới cá nhân thành viên và những đội liên quan bị truất quyền thi đấu trong toàn giải và tước mọi giải thưởng
• Tất cả những thành viên đã thuộc đội vô địch bất cứ tuần nào trong khuôn khổ giải đấu 360Play Championship cũng không được phép tham dự bất cứ đội nào khác, giải nào khác thuộc 360Play Championship diễn ra sau đó. Vi phạm điều này sẽ dẫn tới cá nhân thành viên và những đội liên quan bị truất quyền thi đấu trong toàn giải và tước mọi giải thưởng

Quy định về thi đấu:

Sử dụng các quy định giải đấu 360Play Championship Dota 2. Trong trường hợp các quy định trong thông báo này mâu thuẫn với luật trên, luật được quy định trong thông báo này có hiệu lực cuối cùng

Quy định về trao giải

• Giải thưởng sẽ được trao cho đội trưởng mỗi đội trong vòng 1 tháng kể từ khi kết thúc giải đấu và BTC nhận được thông tin trao giải của đội. BTC không giải quyết tranh chấp trong nội bộ mỗi đội,
• Đối với giải thưởng vượt quá 10 triệu, đội nhận giải sẽ phải chịu thuế 10% số tiền vượt quá 10 triệu.
• Đối với giải thưởng từ 20 triệu trở lên, BTC chỉ trao giải qua hình thức chuyển khoản ngân hàng
• Quy định về hành xử:
• Các thành viên tham gia giải đấu phải tôn trọng BTC, trọng tài, khán giả, và những thành viên khác tham gia giải
• Nghiêm cấm sử dụng từ ngữ thô tục, phân biệt tôn giáo, vùng miền, giới tính, chủng tộc

Trong trường hợp có tranh chấp, quyết định của BTC là quyết định có hiệu lực duy nhất và cuối cùng.
